The Morningstar GFPD-600V provides code-compliant ground fault detection and circuit interruption for high-voltage solar power systems. Designed to meet US National Electrical Code (NEC) 690.5 safety standards, the GFPD-600V senses current imbalances starting at 300 mA and breaks both positive and negative PV array conductors. This complete 2-pole isolation stops fault currents while keeping battery bank and DC load circuits safely bonded to earth ground.
