The Morningstar ProStar MPPT PS-MPPT-40M is a high-efficiency 40-Amp maximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar charge controller designed for off-grid battery systems up to 1,100 Watts. Powered by Morningstar’s TrakStar Technology™, it continuously optimizes energy harvest across changing solar conditions while delivering 4-stage charging for Lead-Acid, Lithium-Ion, and NiCd battery chemistries. This version includes a factory-installed backlit graphical digital meter for field monitoring and programming without requiring a PC, along with built-in 30A load and PV-based lighting control.
